Manchester United have been tipped to nab Nasri since news of the dispute came to light – but only if they fail to woo Inter’s Wesley Sneijder. City are watching the situation – and could easily top all of the contract offers he could get at the Emirates or Old Trafford.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is in a tough place. He does not want to give Nasri a huge pay hike and then face a run of players wanting the same.
And he does not want to sell Nasri, even though he knows he could leave for free next summer.
